Faculty Development Workshop

An interactive faculty development workshop was conducted at NFC IE&FR Faisalabad on the invitation of the Director Prof. Dr. Najaf Ali and Head Chemical Engg. Dr Waqar on 3rd September 2025. The workshop was attended by around 60-70 Faculty members to improve their Teaching, Assessment and Classroom Management Skills. The workshop was well attended and appreciated.

Reflecting on the session, teachers identified two specific strategies they will try to enhance their teaching skills. Briefly explained why strong assessment skills were important for engineering faculty and described one technique they could use to improve their assessment practices. Finally, briefly explained why effective classroom management was important and described one technique they could implement to enhance their classroom environment.

Entrepreneurship for Engineers

What is Entrepreneurship for Engineers?

Ever feel like you've got a killer technical idea, but you're not sure how to turn it into a real business? That's where this course comes in. Think of it as the ultimate cheat sheet for engineers who want to build their own company. We'll take you beyond the formulas and circuit diagrams and teach you how to actually make a business out of your brilliant idea.

Why is This Course for You?

You're a problem-solver by nature. You're great at building things, fixing things, and making things work. But starting a company is a whole different ballgame. It's about finding a problem that people will pay you to solve. It’s about building a team, raising money, and learning to tell a story that makes people want to invest in you.

This course is designed to teach you all of that, in plain English/Urdu/Punjabi. We’ll walk you through topics like:

Idea: Is the idea worth for entrepreneurship?

Finding your people: Who actually has this problem, and how do you find them?

The business part: How do you turn a great idea into a profitable business model?

Getting funded: The secrets to talking to investors and getting the money you need.

Telling your story: How to pitch your idea in a way that gets people excited and makes them believe in you.

By the time you've completed the course, you won't just be an engineer; you'll be a founder. You'll have a clear plan, a compelling pitch, and the confidence to take your idea from your notebook to the real world.
